Gates of the World

You were far away,
buried by the winds,
confused by spaces,
carried by the depths.
Wrapped in the veils of
hopes, loves, and wishes,
compassion, despair,
suffering, and remorse.
You were looking for your secret,
burst into solitude,
worn out in neglect,
preserved in oblivion.
Left many dreams,
trampled the sleeping sea,
erased defeats, listened to twilights,
invented edges.
You prayed carefully, boldly,
star in the abyss,
day and night, pain and patience,
and calm moon phases.
The beats called you,
eternity in you, the silence of the veins,
signs of breath, overflowing tenderness,
the rapture of the body, the persistence of recklessness.
You knew you were untamed,
that there is your wonderful way
of the passage of your truth through the gates of the world.
Love and you – evidence of unrepeatability.
